For today's outfit, I stepped just a bit out of my stylistic norm by going for a more formal look. While these heels might be some of the comfiest platforms in my wardrobe, you probably won't catch me wearing them out and about, save for fancy occasions!

Outfit: Holy Yellow, Batman!

This outfit has got me feeling some very yellow vibes on this cloudy day. I'm always looking for creative ways to incorporate bits of my fandoms into my usual style, and this Batman tee seemed to fit the bill perfectly. With the weather being so mellow and grey (just the way I like it!), it's got me in the mood to curl up in bed with a cup of tea and a stack of comic books.

Outfit: Green Things

For some reason unknown, cat-themed items of clothing always seem to sneak their way into my wardrobe. I do tend to subconsciously gravitate toward animal-inspired things, particularly cats. 

This skirt is such a favorite of mine—not only are the little velvet cat faces adorable, but it matches my hair as well!

Style Inspiration: Karen Louise Flynn

One of the first fashion blog I followed was A Stitch To Wear, written by Karen. Her style is an immense inspiration for me and many others, and her photos always have such a special quality that make them a dream to scroll through. Did I mention her amazing style?

Outfit: Down by the Creek

It's been raining so much this month that the nearby creek, usually dry, finally has water in it again. And though the rain had temporarily ceased, it was replaced by such wild wind that made today's photos quite a challenge! This is one of the few dresses I own that's made light, flowy material, so it was fun to stand out in the wind and twirl about.

Outfit: Garden Wall

It was such a sunny day today, and it provided the perfect opportunity to go stomping around the local library's gardens for some lovely photos. 

One of my favorite things about spring is that floral prints are everywhere. I'm obsessed with anything floral, so naturally this skirt from Forever21 is one of my favorite items in my wardrobe. It looks so good with a loose top and a pair of cute heels.

Wishlist: Illuminated Passion Dress

I'm such a sucker for animal/woodland-themed clothing, and this dress by New York based designer Samantha Pleet has such a magical, foresty feel to it that made it love at first sight. But while I may adore it, my wallet definitely won't, so this one's going the wishlist and staying there for a long time!
